We’re celebrating a special Those Girls giveaway between 12/01/15 and 12/14/15 (thank you, Alison Tyler!). Let’s face it, Dom Sandy has set so many hearts on fire and continues to do so. (To give a taste, Karen Blue says, “Most books don’t come close to making me feel for a character what I feel for Sandy,” and Benji Bright says in an Amazon review, “Alison Tyler’s ultra-dom, Sandy, has the swagger of every hot, unattainable guy you’ve ever wanted desperately to fall into bed with or be chained into bed by.”)

And what better way to celebrate this giveaway than putting on our D/s glasses (or D/D glasses or other — thank you, Spike and Buffy, for reminding us that D/D is a dynamic too) and envisioning BDSM scenes all over the place? Hm? Okay. Here goes: 11 characters we’d love to see taking part in BDSM scenes…for, well, a whole medley of reasons.

Marv in Sin City:

I’m a fierce defender of Sin City. There are those who say we should do away with the aesthetic of the powerful but damaged man who protects the beautiful, dark innocent blonde with the slender body. But I find Marv and Goldie breathtaking. They appeal to a fantasy I hold inside, thanks to the images I’ve witnessed throughout my life—a fantasy that I know is rarely reality.

Marv and Goldie perform with voluptuous chemistry. I’d love to see more of their sex scene, and the roles that they each play for one another.

Doctor Who and River Song:

I’ll let this one speak for itself:

Skipper in Penguins of Madagascar:

He’s loud, large, and in charge, and he loves his Cheezy Dibbles. Hell, what more could you want from a penguin Dom, hm?

Samuel L. Jackson as Jules in Pulp Fiction:

C’mon? Who wouldn’t want to pass this guy their wallet? Then maybe their belt? Then maybe…?

River Tam in Joss Whedon’s Firefly:

[Contains spoilers!] River, a young woman in Whedon and team’s space fantasy series Firefly, has had her brain operated on non-consensually by the government in order to make her a supernatural killer, and now struggles to interpret the world around her. There’s a tendency in fan videos, I’ve found, to focus on River’s violence–the ability she  develops to be able to kill with a single bullet without even opening her eyes. But she is also a character of immense joy and intelligence, who deals with her mental illness with amazing grace. She laughs and dances and plays with exquisite authenticity. She is tough, but also tender. I’d love to see what role she’d choose in a BDSM scene–what she’d choose to express and experiment with.

Whedon and team protect their clips very well, so fan videos are really all that we can find. Here’s a great one…I only wish it showed more of the joyful River.

The Daleks:

Now, we wouldn’t recommend BDSM sex with a Dalek. Emotional connectedness? Nope. Respecting boundaries? Unlikely. Committed to safety? Hell no. Providing imaginative scenarios? We’d be surprised.

But watching Daleks having BDSM sex? Yes, we’re so onboard with that. And we think it could teach us a lot about Daleks….

Mrs. Doyle in Father Ted:

A fun one! Mrs. Doyle, housekeeper at the parochial house on Craggy Island, has those priests thoroughly in check. Why not a BDSM dynamic for her? I hope it would help her deal with her (really quite comical) shame….

Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood:

Awesome, pansexual Captain Jack! I might just want to be him.

Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock:

As far as we can see, the world, like us, wants John Watson and Sherlock Holmes to get it on…and NOW. There’s both emotion and power play in their wit and directness, and such a touching acceptance of one another, in spite of their difficulties. I’d love to see that at play in a sex scene. Okay, you can see I’m a hardcore fan….

Bogart and Bacall in To Have and Have Not:

They’re all but having sex in this scene anyway. I mean, there’s whistling for heaven’s sake…. You can see why these two performers married. Their chemistry is out of this world.

Salma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn:

This character (well, performer, actually) dances with such power and sensuality. As for the BDSM scene, maybe she could bring that snake with her?

We’re powerfully aware that this list doesn’t contain characters with larger body types. Do you folks have any recommendations? We’ve had to disable comments, but you can tweet us @GoDeeperPress!
